Mellifiq secures million dollar plus HVAC contracting project

The property prices at Sveavägen, a busy business district downtown Stockholm, have skyrocketed in the last 20 years. This part of the town is one of the most sought-after business locations in the entire country and home to many local culinary experiences.

In connection with signing new leases with two prestigious restaurant groups, the property owner realized that the spaces where in dire need of renovation. It was also of utmost importance not to compromise the indoor air quality for the existing residents.

The project had the need for multiple of Mellifiq’s state-of-the-art solutions for air treatment, grease removal and odor control, as well as an HVAC design that enables heat recovery from the restaurant exhaust. Needless ty say, Mellifiq was assigned as the general contractor, including design and engineering, for the complete ventilation system including air treatment of the commercial kitchen exhausts.

Our client can now sit back and look forward to the major face-lift, and an improved and environmentally-sound performance for many years to come.
