+10% mortality decrease in RAS systems

Water quality and mortality have always been a challenge in RAS fish farms and a newly concluded on-site evaluation shows over 10% mortality decrease on fingerling production. Ozonetech has together with Scandinavia’s largest fish farmer evaluated the results of ozonation for fingerling production and bigger fish.

After two years of evaluation the result shows several positive trends, decreasing mortality by 10% is one of them. The water is now clearer and the bacterial growth highly reduced. Less bacterial load leads to higher survival rates.

Ozone water treatment brings also another major advantage: Less need for manual labor and chemical handling.
