Nationalmuseum’s new artwork, not available to the public

The remodeling of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm took five years and cost 130 million euros. An installation not reported by the media is the stunning RENA system that stops odors and minimizes the fire risk.

The RENA system produces ozone from ambient air and continuously removes grease particles from kitchen exhaust. Your best chance to see the installation is probably to sneak into the kitchen – it’s wall-mounted like most artwork.
