Pilot-run results in high reduction of COD, color and odor

Ozonetech was chosen as a trusted partner by a well-known international manufacturer of household products to investigate the prerequisites for a multimillion-dollar investment in purification equipment.

Advanced pilot-test on the actual wastewater was performed to ensure that 90% of the COD (31000 mg/L) will be reduced with our suggested solution based on ozone treatment in combination with flocculation and filtration.

As each process wastewater has its unique characteristics, our team planned and executed a pilot-scale treatment in our in-house facility in order to study the decomposition of the compounds.

The results showed high COD removal, as well as effective color and odor reduction.

The in-house lab tests also resulted in a proposal of a tailored ozone treatment solution for the client.
