Stockholm water authority picks Mellifiq as consulting partner

As part of the city’s vision for a more sustainable future, Stockholm Vatten och Avfall (SVOA), the authority responsible for Stockholm’s municipal water has signed a consulting agreement with Mellifiq to improve water quality in the Swedish capital.

Known around the world for its drinking water quality, SVOA continues to seek improvements as the city prepares for future production capacity.

Mellifiq will act as a key partner for evaluating and optimizing the removal of trace organics with specific recalcitrant properties, also known as a chemical barrier. Mellifiq has already provided Ozonetech water treatment solutions to SVOA which will be a key factor for the project.
