96% reduction of oil-, alcohol- and phenol-based compounds

Mellifiq accomplished a 96% reduction in COD content as well as a significant color and odor elimination from a customer’s industrial process wastewater with COD concentrations as high as 50,000 mg/l.

The highly polluted wastewater contained high amounts of phenols, alcohols as well as oil-based compounds requiring complex treatment technologies.

The wastewater was analyzed and processed in our in-house laboratory, with a combination of technologies including ozone-based AOP, catalytic media and activated carbon. Based on the results, we can now design a full-scale treatment process and take full functional responsibility for the outcome of the treatment results.

Discharge of polluted compounds is being strictly and increasingly regulated to prevent the contamination of water bodies.
