Mellifiq commissions turn-key micropollutant removal solution

It has been a busy week for our field engineers!

Mellifiq has installed and commissioned a turn-key solution for treatment of active pharmaceutical residues (API) and micropollutants at Sälfjället wastewater treatment plant at Malung-Sälen. We want to extend a huge thank you to the public utility managers for a warm and professional welcome and preparation for this installation.

“The commissioning went smoothly. We have also conducted Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and the initial results are very promising!”, says Josephine Berg, Project Engineer at Mellifiq.

We look forward to sharing the results and removal rates in the coming months. Being one of the most modern and popular ski resorts in northern Europe, we appreciate being given the opportunity to protect the local environment during the peak season.
