Project description and Aim

We have several exciting projects to design and deliver turn-key systems for micropollutants (pharmaceutical residues) in water. The aim of the master thesis is to evaluate the purification process in both pilot projects and full-scale installations. The work will be conducted in the field and at our facilities in Stockholm, Sweden. The projects include scientific investigation of treatment efficacy and lifecycle analysis aspects of the process design.

This project includes the following:

• Literature review
• Create a research plan according to the time schedule
• Experimental tests and test analysis
• Evaluation of technical combinations
• Thesis writing

You will work in close collaboration with Mellifiq’s business and R&D team.

Personal Profile

The project is suitable for students with the ability to work independently and creatively. We expect our applicants to have the following qualifications:

• MSc in Environmental-, Chemical Engineering or similar process-oriented engineering fields
• Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English
• Business mind
• Have a strong academic record
• Valid driver’s license

Scope

• Expected scope: 20 weeks, 30 HP/credits
• Expected start: 2023
