Catalytic ozone removal process reduces climate footprint for large municipality

We have confirmed an order for replacing a thermal destruction plant for a large municipality in southern Sweden. Our client has struggled with operation and energy costs for years. Taking the leap to a more environmentally friendly solution became a necessity.

Large quantities of problematic ozone off-gas have been destroyed with a thermal destruction unit, at over 400 degrees Celsius. With our catalytic process, energy savings of up to 200,000 kW hours will be achieved annually. In addition to payback on investment in less than 6 months, the solution is in line with the client’s aspirations towards Agenda 2030 and lower environmental impact.
