Ozonetech delivers containerized system for treatment of pharmaceutical residues

Our engineering team has designed and delivered a turn-key containerized solution for pharmaceutical residue treatment (API) at a municipal wastewater treatment plant. The delivery includes ozone treatment with pre- and post-filtration to remove Diclofenac, Metoprolol, Atenolol, and more than 100 other micropollutants identified in the plant’s effluent. Ozonetech has delivered a complete consulting package comprising a plant audit, including computation fluid dynamics, CFD simulations, and pilot treatment to validate the results. The delivery is in-line with the municipality’s aspirations to be a true leader and role model in sustainable technology.
