Ozonetech to replace 100 tons of toxic chemical annually

Ozonetech was appointed today as the general contractor for a larger process wastewater treatment project for the coating industry. A full-scale cyanide and heavy metal removal plant is going to be designed and installed under Ozonetech´s management.

The water is going to be cleaned of organic compounds and metal contents using our state-of-the-art ozonation process. Ozonetech’s advanced process substitutes the existing conventional process which requires almost 100 TONS of chemicals per year. The new process will save up to 200 tons of eq-CO2 emissions per year. Not only that, the customer will reduce the annual operating costs by about half a million SEK.
