Pharmaceutical wastewater treatment

Ozonetech Systems OTS AB has in recent weeks been conducting lab scale ozone treatment of highly contaminated process water levels from an industry.

The water was treated with a patented AOP technology (advanced oxidation process) adapted for waters with very high COD levels. The goal of the pilot run is to use observations to construct a full-scale plant to significantly reduce the client’s effluent disposal costs.

The plant contains eg oxidation with ozone, tailored catalyst and multi-stage filtration in a pressurized system.
