Seminar for Municipalities on Pharmaceutical Residue Removal

Ozonetech held today an informational seminar for several municipalities on how to treat and remove pharmaceutical residues from their wastewater treatment plants.

Several Swedish wastewater treatment plants received last year financial support from Swedish Environmental Agency (“Naturvårdsverket”) to help them deal with this ever-increasing challenge. Today, these plants are discharging their effluent without any pharmaceutical removal into nearby water streams.

Ozonetech is planned to deliver several turn-key solutions for treating and removing up to 131 different residues from the effluent stream.
