Project description and Aim

In warm climates, cooling towers are essential to the infrastructure. Since large amounts of water are lost in the evaporation process, the aim of the master thesis is to evaluate solutions to reduce the water consumption and reuse the water.

This project includes the following:

• Literature review
• Create a research plan according to the time schedule
• Experimental tests
• Thesis writing

You will work in close collaboration with Mellifiqs business and RnD team.

Personal Profile

The project is suitable for students with the ability to work independently and creatively. We expect our applicants to have the following qualifications:

• MSc in Environmental-, Chemical Engineering or similar process-oriented engineering fields
• Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English
• Have a strong academic record

The candidate has the opportunity to work with a strong team of Mellifiqs engineers and project managers.

Scope

• Expected scope: 20 weeks, 30 HP/credits
• Expected start: 2023
